HEY THERE!  I'm Colin Boyd. I'm a songwriter, a singer, a performer, a guitarist, a producer, a video-artist and recording-artist based in my hometown of Dallas, Texas.  

MAYBE you know my songwriting.  If so, then you may know that my songs have been recorded by Jack Ingram, Carrie Underwood, Kristen Garner, Domestic Science Club, Monte Warden [my writing partner], Sara Hickman [my writing partner], and Barney the Dinosaur.  With Sara Hickman, I got to write the title track of the independent film "It's In The Water".  The Jack ingram cut that I wrote "Flutter" was not only a Billboard-charting single in 1997, it was the Number One requested video on CMT UK - a chart-topper!  

MAYBE you know my songs and my singing from MY OWN records. All of those are on the Happy Cat Records label.  My latest Colin Boyd record is my "Shine" cd.  But even NEWER than that is my collaboration with my partner Lauren Adelle, "Mi Amor".

MAYBE you have seen me singing in a music venue, a bar, a restaurant, a party, a wedding, on tour outside of Dallas...

MAYBE you know me as a guitarist performing with other artists... I've played some guitar with Southern Drive, with The Nate Kipp Band, with Sara Hickman, with Monte Warden, with Tricia Mitchell, with Christen Cross, with Lenzi Lenaye and The Greenhorns, with The Stephen Pointer Band... with my partner Lauren Adelle.  I'm that guy with the shaggy hair and the blonde telecaster. Well, my hair used to be shaggy anyway :-) and it probably will be again.

OR MAYBE we've recorded or worked on a music project together.  I'm always doing something musical.  Pretty much.
